Tokyo Nostalgia
I like to capture nostalgia. I like to capture those intimate moments when we feel alone in a big city at night. Looking at the warm lights emanating from the countless windows in a sea of concrete, we realize there's hundreds of lonely hearts feeling the same as we do. In those moments we feel lonely, yet we are never truly alone. Maybe that's what keeps many of us going: knowing that, there is someone out there, whose thoughts are connecting with ours in this very moment. We are all individuals crossing each other's paths at some point in life.
My photography is for all those lonely hearts, aiming to create a sense of community in our shared solitude. It’s not about breaking the loneliness, but sharing it instead.
